Now that I have a “telephone pole“, it’s time to install wireless internet. A call to Ray at the Sylacauga Utilities Commission is in order. He tells me that we are #8 in the queue and that it will be well into the following week before they can do the install.
Jason, the install technician, calls the next day. He can do the install the following morning. Awesome!
Jason shows up right on time and before noon we have wireless internet.
Now for a trip to Verizon to cancel service (cuz they make it impossible to cancel online or over the phone).
